If you guys wouldn't mind taking a look at this with a critical eye I would appreciate it. Please note the emphasis on certain issues are because of the demographics of Sevier County and the East TN region (ie: Pro-Life, evangelical, immigration, etc.).

The file can be viewed here:

Details about the newspaper ad:

It is a half page ad in the Mountain Press for Sunday February 3rd. As a meetup group we couldn't afford a full page ad ourselves, but I am considering a chip-in to increase the size of the ad from 1/2 page to full page. It is not cheap (at least not to us folks - it is well over $1,000). Dr. Paul's support here is pretty good and definitely on the rise. Our grassroots have opened up an office in Townsend which is encouraging.

I think the half-page will do the trick. I like it and fits the audience well.

nice.. what would it cost to run it multiple days? i.e. Friday, Sat, and Sun? They might give you a discount and folks could chip-in to help cover the cost of the other days.

to much info. but it might work. I know we all feel like we have to tell everything about Ron Paul right there on the spot. but sometimes short and sweet works then lead them to RonPaul2008 or the 1800 number so they can get more info. Quick and catch always gets the sheep.

either way the phone number needs to be there. A lot of people in their 60s do not have the internet and LOVE to talk on the phone, which is not cordless, and has that round dial thingy.

something like "END ABORTION NOW" Ron Paul for President more info at ronpaul2008.com or whatever their phone number is

That has tons of black on white space draws the reader in and gives them a chance to find out more info.

The price for 1/2 page on Super Bowl Sunday is $1,300 - which was really high in my opinion, but we still went for it. That is a good idea about Friday, Sat, and Sunday. The problem is the deadline for the ad on Sunday Feb. 3rd is January 30th, so I would assume the deadlines for Friday might have already passed. I am part of the the meetup group and designed the ad, but I havent been in communications with the newspaper, another guy has been doing that. I will let him know about the idea of trying to run it on days other than Sunday. I am quite certain the price will be quite cheaper, as will circulation, but the repeated ads would definitely grab attention more seeing it over and over. Thanks for your suggestions and help!

Thank you, good point about the 1-800 number. I will add that in there for sure.
