he started a thread about us actually living V for Vendetta just before this thread.
Discouraged?

Oh, please. The drama queens are out of control.

Let the mods do their jobs. And if you care about your own intellectual ramblings more than freedom and the future of the nation -- GOOD RIDDANCE!

I've been mightily discouraged as well, but I cannot give up the fight. I have been too consumed by the popularity of freedom.

I guess he didn't get the memo about martial law. Your guns are now only good for protecting your gold bullion.

Everyone needs a break from this stress. I think the last thing to do is to convince yourself you are done with this cause and done dealing with the people on your side. Rest well for a bit and then consider coming back. Each one of us is vital.

GOOD RIDDANCE!

Maybe, maybe not. I agree with his premise that we are living "V for Vendetta".

On the other hand if my thread gets moved it makes little difference in the "grand chessboard" of the world. If someone is frustrated please try to help out or at least give 'em some space. This is a real-life struggle against real evil in very high places... a heavy weight to bear. If you consider something "drama queen" then simply do no respond to it. Leave it at that.

No one censored anything. The thread did not appear to have anything to do with Ron Paul grassroots efforts, so it was moved to General Politics & Other. A placeholder for the move was left in this forum. You can find the thread right here.

I am sure you have noticed that there are a whole lot of forums and subforums on this board. One of our jobs as moderators is to do our best to keep things moved where they should be and you guys could help us out a lot, if you would try to create them in the right place to begin with.

Happy trails Dave.

Nothing. Matter of fact, we pretty much are. :)

The thread in question was moved, not REmoved.

Big difference.

For anyone miffed or otherwise by Dave's unexpected departure (or not), take a look at the first link in my sig. It's a great antidote to second thoughts and the divisive shenanigans of moles.

I respect what the mods do and have to deal with. I accept that I could be wrong but I don't believe it's beneficial to screen and move posts that are are negative. Aren't we all grassroots? Why is it that a cheerleader saying "yeah we're great" and nothing else is allowed, but when someone points out that on the current course, we're headed for defeat is not?

I would argue that the most valuable view will be determined by this campaigns results. At current, our numbers, our finances, our advertising and our strategy would suggest that those of us "questioning" are doing so for good reason. To send these views to the basement only serves to mask the "grassroots" collective voice.

Realist, as long as an effort is made to provide a constructive solution to an identified problem, it is not likely at all that the thread will be moved. Brainstorming ideas, is what Grassroots Central badly needs.

Purely bitch and moan sessions, on the other hand, will not share the same fate.

All I'm saying is that I've read NUMEROUS rah-rah-sis-boom bah posts that offered little in the way of news OR suggestions, and they don't get moved. But bitch and moan sessions do. I'd agree with your premise but only if applied to any post that fails to bring constructive ideas.

BTW- I'm not saying moderators have it easy or that I know how to run the site any better... all I'm saying is I beleive both sides deserve similar treatment and are beneficial to balance each other out.
