It's by a Mod, so I guess it's different.

That's a very good poll to do. You'll see that the 60+ age range is very underrepresented here. I must repeat myself, but most Republican voters in the Primaries are over 60 ! (45% in Nevada for example). Florida will be similar.

The ideas we come up with in this forum are no necessarily what the majority of voters believe.

I think I'm going to start an over 60 thread.

This is the internet. Most people are 13-20somethin

Anyway, 17 shouldn't be in the same category as 15/16 because a lot of 17 yr olds can vote in primary

Or in my fifty first year.

My Mom is not on this forum but is voting Ron Paul, she is 82.

Jumpy,

Yes, I know. But, it seems to me that the makeup of the board has changed quite a bit over the last month or two. So, I just wanted to test that assumption.

Thank you for participating. :)

Not tellin' ;)

We definitely DO need the vote of people 60+. They vote and most of them I know are fed up with what's going on. An 82 year old client of mine recently said that we really need a 3rd party. So I introduced her to RP and she liked what she heard. :)

Cheers! My mom seems to be a lost cause politically as she sits mesmerized by Fox News too much. After listening to me for years, maybe she'll actually do the right thing and vote for Ron on Feb 5th ... maybe.

I can't get over how fast our forum numbers with newbies are making us grow. It's awesome :)

I'm 35, and say quite often that I am impressed with the under 18 people here. Whenever I read those people write their age, it's pretty surprising, they seem pretty mature.
