How did this happen -or should I say when? No matter I suppose

Others have been promoting www.paulfamilyvalues.com

I emailed ronpaulgraphs earlier and referenced this site. Should I add the fauxnewsbomb site and this one and they can call it the February 1st moneybomb?

Can everyone join me in emailing ronpaulgraphs to get this graph added?

The contact email from their site is dan@ronpaulgraphs.com Include all 3 sites in your email!

Lets get the word up and out on this one!

What makes FiftyOneYears official?

PaulFamilyValues was off the ground sooner.

Also... PaulFamilyValues is set up as an e-card, which (IMO) makes good sense since it's an Anniversary theme.

Could we take a look at pointing fiftyoneyears.com to the PFV website? Maybe?

People seem to be enjoying posting their pledges on the e-ecard.

The site is nice, but could it have a little more information on it? It doesn't even have the donation date. A total subscriber number would also be nice.

The way I see it, use both of them.

Although the requested donation is $51 from 100,000 * donors, I decided to pledge the $150 on Feb 1st. Looks like a good path to the requested funds.

* Maybe too optimistic which is one reason why I decided to give more.

BTW, the banner reads 100,000 people donating $15 dollars which should read 100,000 people donating $51 dollars each.

I'm not sure what you mean. You only pledge to donate on this website which naturally puts you on someone's e-mail list. ;) You donate only at http://www.ronpaul2008.com , but you probably know this tidbit already. Hopefully, it'll help someone new to the process who will be donating on Feb 1st.

The site says the donation is $15, not $51, which makes the math look wrong:

Our goal is to bring together 100,000 people to donate $15 each, creating a one day donation total of $5,100,000.

Now I'm confused. Thought this was the site: http://pfv.rev-u.net/ (Family Values). It already has almost 150 pledges.

It still is for me. I'm using that www.paulfamilyvalues.com site.

This other one has like 14 pledges only AND wrong info.

Boo!

Not offence to the designer, but....

While I prefer the domain name of fiftyoneyears to the family values one, the latter site is designed better for a celebration of a wedding anniversary. The theme should be light and soft, not dark.

Well, they have posted 51years on the home page of the forums...

yeah, please improve the site a little (the date must be big). And add videos--that is very important. The site is really beautiful though, and thanks to whoever is doing it.

I think it should be changed to $100 pledges for 51,000 people. We're simply not going to get 100,000 people, and probably won't even get 51,000, so we need to plan for this by raising the pledges.

Darnit I didn't get a chance to cast doubt and disparage and otherwise derail this project. It just ain't fair I'm tell'in yas. Who started this without clearing it with me? The nerve not to subject this idea to weeks of second guessing and make certain at least 98% of forum participants are in total agreement.. what if it is determined by more than two percent of us the money could have been better spent? How can we ever get anything accomplished if people just go ahead and take it upon themselves to ACT?? Huh?

I'm ask'in yas..

The Fifty One Banner on the Ron Paul Forum needs to be changed. Obviously, it was designed by a man. Way to dark for a wedding anniversary.

Plus did anyone here think to post the 51st Anniversary Event Money Bomb on the Official Ron Paul Money Bomb Site to avoid having two Money Bombs on the same day.?

http://ronpaulmoneybomb.com/ This website has been the Headquarters for Ron Paul MoneyBombs for months now....

Sadly, this whole thing has turned into a mess with two competing MoneyBombs promoting the same event...

I am going with the Ron Paul Family Values Site.

I'm new to this whole give to campaign things so please bear with me for a minute while I ask...

But why does it matter if there are two sites? If they are both being promoted, the campaign still gets the money, right? Also does it really make a difference if someone gives, but doesn't pledge? Someone above said that you only pledge to these sites and donate through the official site, so I really don't get it. Call me confused. Sorry.

You give money at the official RP site. It's just that people for some reason fight over what the pledging site should be, as if it really mattered all that much.

Really, it doesn't matter because you donate at the ronpaul site, but I think fiftyoneyears is better to promote because it is catchier and simpler

Hi,

First off --thank you for adding this!!!

I'll send an email thru your site also, but there is a typo on your site. My eye was immediately drawn to the bold text --which is great! But it should be "carpet bombing". Since a person's eyes will be drawn to that statement first thing, give them a direct command with it... add "Donate Now!" in the very same text. (Just a suggestion.)

I hope you see my message above!
