Hmmm, yeah, that's a million dollar production. My song is recorded in the bathroom with the Ron Paul banner duct taped to the mirror. I guess there's no comparison.

Yep, I can't compete with billion dollar cats. But my point is, um, I don't know, uh, something like
Ron Paul!

I really like it. I already like rockabilly, so adding Ron Paul makes it even better=)
My only critique is the lines near the beginning which say something like "Now thats the real polution""Ron Paul Revelution". Yes i know that the real polution was the aforementioned thing, not RPR, but it might be misunderstood. Thats a powerful rhyme, and after your clear "real polution", people are listening in for what you think is the polution.
I really love that you made the lyrics so personal to your community. Not many, or any? people that have written songs so far have spoken to rural america. Good Job=)
Now, when should we expect the death metal remix of your angry call=)?

Thanks!
Yep, the....taxes are the real pollution....
was an adlib lyric, the original lyric idea was too complex for a simple hillbilly song
sure, we're country, no fans of forced animal tagging/chipping or the Trans Texas corridor...and there will be no death metal or angry call remix, only more, and better calls to gunny bob...setting the record straight on who has authorization to make war, when, and why.
thanks a lot for your kind words...Terry and I stayed up almost all night making the song :)

Drop the RevolUTION stuff. It ain't WORKING.
Look at the Florida polls. Fro the most part, the polls were pretty accurate thus far.

LOL! :D
If you really believe that the "revolution" stuff has had any real influence or relevance on this campaign either way....then drop the crack pipe stuff. It ain't WORKING either.
Turn out, turn out, turn out.
The nation believes this bullshit war on terror and that Ron blames America for 9-11. The nation may well have to wise up to these fallacies the hard way...

Not bad at all, I like it.
I don't think it will rise to the top of the charts though.
Tastes for music on this forum are widely varied, I think it has a place.
You might try for a slicker studio mix.

Thanks. No top 40, not this one, no sir. Not top 4 million even.
But look, the RP songs so far...not that I'm any hotshot musician, but save the Sinatra and Reggae RP songs, the RP songs have not been so hot. In fact most suck pretty bad. Kinda like the Florida pollsl
Yeah, this stuff was recorded w/20 dollar mics into a twin boss loop pedal. Boot-leg! ;)

Classy, but you need to boost the amplitude of your microphone. Time for a remix. :)

Great catch! Right, the vocal 1:30 and beyond is totally buried. The entire sequence is layered, not seperate tracks. Next time I will put each track into sonar and remix, but too late for this recording.
My rhythm guitar is also ahead on two different downbeats towards the end, other than that, it's ok.

Ewww. Well.
Zappa said that talking about music is like dancing about food. Or some such. thing.
But this dude in here in your video seems to be reaching for exposure, and plastering a close up of his face on the video is my first clue. For the song, I just have too much testosterone to be able to listen to it seriously....but that's my problem. I'm waiting for him to bust out crying.
As for my favs, this is it below, Austin's Three Shoes Posse's "Ron Paul is Here". There is no other that is even in league with this pro Ron Paul heavy hitter...and they are not beating us with still mug shots during the tune :) plus they are putting Paul and the movement FIRST! ;)
