How many people are we paying for to manage the blimp at $500 a week?

Are we seriously paying salaries upwards of $10k a month for this to be done OUTSIDE of the blimp costs themselves? Was this discussed and why are they wanted to add MORE to the group at $500 a week?

When did this turn into a business and how is this "grassroots" at any level if they are paid staff? I might be alone on this but I see an extra $10k or more that can go to fund the blimp itself OR go to the official campaign.

Any thoughts from someone who understands this expense as I dont personally.

It cost money and time to get a blimp up in the air. How else are you going to do it? If you don't have a job, a family, and are willing to work for free... then good for you. Most people I know have to pay rent or a mortgage to keep a roof over their heads.

the blimp operator has a crew for that. Not really the question. I am talking about the web guy who makes $500 a week for the site, the pr guy who makes $500 a week. Those are the ones I am talking about.

Getting it into the air is part of the "blimp costs" to operate. I am talking about the "ronpaulblimp.com" crew and not the actual blimp crew themselves.

So no one wants to talk about the 10 GRAND A MONTH that we have been feeding GRASSROOT SUPPORTERS just like OURSELVES to do this????

do we not realize what VOLUNTEERING means anymore?????

Sadly, many people are making money off the grassroots donations. I never see any finished products, except for the TV ads. People put up a website, ask for donations, get a couple hundred $$ and are never seen again.

The Blimp is a tangible project, but, if they're paying themselves more than what it costs for their personal lives then they are just making money off the good name of Ron Paul and that's inexcusable.

Let the free market work. Those that are doing the wrong thing will end up in prison anyway.

All of this stuff will be investigated by the feds.

We should be asking for a lengthy report on what people plan to do with the money.

Frankly, the trust shown by sponsors of grassroots campaigns is baffling at times. The slicker the website, the more dubious I'd be.

Where is that flippin' Limo?? Disappeared for a fortnight now?
