slow down. there are like 7 money bombs planned right now.

I like this idea, but lets see if we can figure out a way to get RP the money in time for super tuesday. Maybe rename one of the other bombs the Constitution bomb, in honor of the anniversary of the constitution, but have it on an earlier date

your website says "March 4th" not "Feb 5th"

IMO, the one for Feb 1 makes the most sense.

- It's National Freedom Day
- It's Ron & Carol's 51st anniversary
- It kicks off the final weekend before Super Tuesday

Maybe I'm missing something, but after looking at Wikipedia
I don't see where you are getting the 2/5 (Feb 5th) as the anniversary
of the United States Constitution:

Created 1787-09-17
Ratified 1788-06-21

I dont think everyone got the email that we were planning the actual large money bomb ONCE feb 5th has gone and went to make sure everyone who can donate NOW does so.

I see a money bomb on feb 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th so far? Am I missing any of them? lol..

Donate now, do not wait for a money bomb no matter how pretty the sites are people. He needs ANOTHER 5 million BY feb 5th so lets get it done. We need to stop spending time and effort getting new sites going and focus on getting donators to DONATE NOW.

Pretty sure that Constitution day for the US is 9/17
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_Day

But the 2/5 date is the anniversary of the Mexican Constitution... As someone else pointed out to me :o

lmao, this got out of hand fast. No, it started as a simple mistake: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=101027

You know how some calendars list other country's holidays and denote that holiday with (US) for example? Well this one appearantly had (M) and the originator of the idea didn't realize that (M) ment it was a Mexican holiday.

For a money bomb to be effective, it needs to be reported by the media because that's where most people get their news. Since the media does NOT report it, the money bomb fails its' goal. Media complicity is required for effectiveness. Without media complicity, it's just an egocentric activity.

A continued, sustained stream of donations is the only way Ron can plan, project and keep up the good fight. We all want Ron to win, so we all need to donate often. Money bombs actually hurt the campaign because they withhold money from Ron when he needs it. Just like a business, you can't operate on boom/bust cycles - you need sustained income.

The money bomb was a fine idea until the media proved it wasn't going to be complicit. We need to adapt if we are to win Ron the presidency. If people really want to help Ron, they'll throw money at his campaign often. Instead of talk and websites of money bombs, there should be talk and websites of continued contributions. Throw some goals in there such as "X dollars for Super Bowl ads" and you help Ron spread the message.

take all the money you want to use for advertising, making sites, buying domain names and hosting and GIVE IT TO RON PAUL

Please add to your thinking that we're past raising money for Super Tuesday. You need more lead time to spend it. So that part is done now.

This February 5th deadline makes sense because we want to go into Super Tuesday with some BUZZ and EXCITEMENT happening, for all those folks who are finally looking for a candidate to vote for now that they realize their primary is coming up.

The MONEY from this new goal is to prime the pump for the next phase of the campaign. The TIMING of this deadline is for a show of campaign ENERGY.

For Liberty!

Its nothing to do with raising money FOR super tuesday that I have the issue with, it is the holding off that some might do to donate for this instead of donating NOW since he needs the money NOW.

After feb 5th there is a large money bomb idea in the works from what I have heard so "after the 5th" is being taken care of. It is BEFORE the 5th that I do not want people to NOT donate just to wait for a money bomb day... He needs the money yesterday, today and tomorrow and not on super tuesday.

5 million more BY super tuesday...

I hear you, revolution08... The reason I reminded people that it's too late to raise money FOR Super Tuesday is because in this thread and a couple of others I've read tonight people posted obviously thought the campaign's February 5th deadline was for that purpose. I'm just trying to get those people to correct their understanding.

I wrote this:

"The MONEY from this new goal is to prime the pump for the next phase of the campaign. The TIMING of this deadline is for a show of campaign ENERGY [going into Super Tuesday]."

Do you disagree?

Like you, I just want people donating, fer cryin' out loud! :D
