I've done alot of thinking about this and it's true.. Americans take too much for granted. Too many people are concerned about what club Paris Hilton is going to next, or what's Britney Spears next meltdown.

There is alot of things wrong with America.. Why do people continue to drive by the white house without protest is beyond me. How this guy (Bush) has been allowed to rape the peoples' liberties.. People know he is only in the white house because he took bribes to be there. And is only there now for personal wealth and wealth for his friends/connections..

My question is, how long will it take for the masses to get to the point of being totally pissed off?? Pissed off enough for 3 million people to march in front of the whitehouse demanding changes..

Other countries have had uprisings recently , Ireland, Algeria to name a few of many.. The people rise up.. Yet, America who is ranked 50th in the world for freedoms just sit by the wayside oblivious to whats happening around them.. We should be 1st in freedoms not 50th..

Most americans don't know they are being robbed blind.. The average american has -2% in savings. People dont have the money, the elite do.. All we have is based on free easy credit, our wealth is not based on anything solid.. Most of us wouldn't have our cars or homes if it wasn't for credit. Credit we have to pay high interest on just making the elite even more rich.

So when is it time America says we aren't going to take it anymore? Why are so many people just resting on their laurels? Why do so many people have the attitude that there is nothing we can do about it, making the problem even worse.?

Every generation since Vietnam has had it easy.. A friend of mine said americans need to be humbled, like having a tragic war, or some kind of collapse, before any kind of uprising happens.. My question is, can't they see where we afre headed already?? How come people aren;t smart enough to demand better now before it's too late?

Sorry for the rant.. This just frustrates me to no end.. Where we are headed, being lied to constantly by the establishment and the media etc etc,, It's just so very frustrating that people take it, and believe the propaganda they are being shoved everyday down their throats .. If the people got together and took a stand, I'd feel alot better about it.. But people are not doing that. They much prefer playing the sheep role, and to me it's sickening.

Because even the poorest in America are still eating and sending their kids to school. Sadly I think we'll have to hit rock bottom before people wake up and then what scares me is there is a mentality in most Americans now where they would rather accept socialism than work for freedom.

Well, let's see. First, someone, perhaps China, will have to invade. We Americans don't know what it's like to live in a country that's occupied by another. We can give excuses for invading all these other countries ("They're crazy people and won't listen if we're not there to keep them in check!"), but we really don't know what it would be like if someone invaded us. If that happens, and America's foreign policy is blamed for creating an incentive, then people might start to wake up, but then we'd have to rebel against two governments.

Remember, patriotism runs deep in this country. To defy one's government and authority means one is un-American. We have forgotten that it is not the government that we must respect, but the ideals that created this nation. The most patriotic thing an American can do is question the government, and if the government is out of line, fix it. Questioning the government and blaming it for it's own mistakes is very patriotic, but they won't have us thinking that.

All in all, we've grown lazy. We don't face the troubles of other countries, so we don't think we have to fight back. I think a non-violent uprising is definately in order, but we're going to have to recruit a lot of people.

That is their right!

There is alot of things wrong with America.. Why do people continue to drive by the white house without protest is beyond me. How this guy (Bush) has been allowed to rape the peoples' liberties.. There is far more RIGHT about America then Wrong.

Why are so many people just resting on their laurels?

That is YOUR opinion..

Every generation since Vietnam has had it easy.. A friend of mine said americans need to be humbled, like having a tragic war, or some kind of collapse, before any kind of uprising happens..

Your friend is an ass!

I think efforts such as the Free State Project are far more practical. Imagine if we can get just a few thousand liberty-lovers to move to a place like Wyoming or New Hampshire. If there was a movement like that for a place along a warm coastline, I'd be there already. :)

We're already being invaded by overseas buyouts. I think it's going to take a revolution of people before anyone listens. I don't mean China invading us (already happened), I don't mean this election's revolution (although it's a start). No. We have to force this on America. If we sit around and wait for another country to attack us, we'll just be in the same boat as 9/11 with us sending troops overseas, nuking Russia, or some shit like that.

We the people must unite to takeover. We are off to a great start on the internet. We need to move forward. Put our money into opening our own newspaper/public information centers and advertising them like mad. We need to teach our children the knowledge they need to continue the uprising. We can overthrow the government without interrupting the democratic process - through running for office ourselves. Start with your city government, then state, become a senator or representative.

Our ideals are powerful, the truth is maddening. You only need to inform someone of the many injustices happening and they will listen and learn. I haven't met one person yet that doesn't get angry or curious when they are told what's happening (with plenty of references and facts to back it up).

People for the most part are sheeple, but we CAN wake them up. They will dig more once they are awoken.

The problem we face are all due to the law of idiots and cowards. When the best, brightest, and most involved are the ones to put their lives on the line time and time again, while those of less favorable nature do not... eventually the best and the brightest gene lines come to an end. This leaves the gene pool and society tainted by those who refused to give their all. Over time, this society becomes crippled by poverty, crime, and corruption. At these points the society collapses, and those that would not do for them selves are culled by nature.

It is time for that culling...

We will expose the evils of a collectivist mentality once and for all. And bring individual liberty to all. Now is the time. Stay informed. Stay faithful. And keep spreading the word in a good way. Do not use force. Peacefully we can win this thing. But it will require lots of time, effort and energy.

WE WILL WIN THIS SKIRMISH!!!

The best uprising we could possibly have is telling people what freedom really means, not tackling public enemies, but in our local areas. This movement spreads upwards, not downwards.

Socialism is far more popular then freedom.
Think about it, there are alot of people who are poor or lower middle class that live week to week and can barely afford to live. They like the idea of free money. They see the money as coming from the rich to them. To them Socialism is great, its what keeps them from being out in the street because they cant pay their rent/morgage, it puts food on their table to feed their 4 kids. They dont understand that the reason that they are poor is Socialism.

The best uprising we could possibly have is telling people what freedom really means

My point exactly too. That's what I try to do. However, I'm concerned about how much time we have.

Shame on them ... my parents, and my parents' parents, who failed to teach me the twelve bedrock principles of Americanism. Without Americans understanding their heritage our Founding Fathers blessed us progeny, Americans are unable to even recognize what Freedom is supposed to be. They grow up as if the way it is now is the way it's supposed to be.

These all-important principles our Freedom-loving Founders fully understood should have been taught in schools, but most definitely by our own families. We were expected by our Founders to pass these principles on from generation to generation.

So why didn't this happen?

The American Ideal of 1776:
The Twelve Basic American Principles

http://lexrex.com/enlightened/AmericanIdeal/

We cannot let Freedom die because past, current, and future generations lost their way and forgot (or never learned) these American principles.

Every 20 years there should be one to keep the people running this country for us in check.
This wouldn't be an issue today if this was done when this BullShit started many many years ago.
