I signed up as a Precinct Captain, watched the Videos,

downloaded my precinct walking list. I'm in a state with a closed primary (CA) and the deadline to register to vote on Super Tuesday passed last week.

Should I just skip the step in ID'ing voters who are NOT registered as a Republican? Or should I just do the phone survey for as many as I can regardless of how the voter is registered. I'm thinking that I should just call the ones listed as Republican. Am I wrong?

Skip the others, it's wasting your time that could be spent on voters who are actually able to vote (or sitting on the couch watching TV or whatever you want to do).

Finish Republicans, then independents (if they can vote in the primary) then if ur all done with time to spare call other parties to identify Paul supporters who cant vote for him but who might wanna help with the campaign financially or boots on the ground.
