Hey everyone, only 27 videos have been sent in for the Iowa ABC debate. That's a pretty unimpressive number for a large debate such as this. If you have a camera send in your video questions and lets see the number get bumped up. We could own this :D

to submit go to http://ugv.abcnews.go.com/category.aspx?uid=366803&r=1&c=5

Everybody here should view all the videos submitted, and vote up the good ones, and down the bad ones, in regards to how they would help Ron Paul stand out positively. Also we do need more videos submitted from Ron Paul supporters with experience in making and uploading videos.

Vote Rachel's video 5 stars. She is at 2.5 stars and I don't believe it.

I voted and it didn't budge.

This video here doesn't have sound and it's rated 3.5 stars?

I voted for Rachel - she's up to 3.5 stars now. I think we need to make Rachel our official RP girl! She's the best.

I posted a video a couple hours ago and it still hasn't been added to the page.

Anyone know if there are requirements for codecs used or resolution? The only one I see is less than 100 MBs which mine definitely is.

I really want mine to be posted because I think it is a vital question that Ron Paul should answer!

The lead up to his question seemed wrong to me, but the actual question is great. With meetups and rallies and various interviews going on all the time, maybe we can get Ron Paul to answer the question similar to that question before the actual debate.

i DONT' have a camera but would somebody please ask him about department of education and what exactly is his plan of action to replace all those programs that will be done away with once DOE is done away with.

Akus, I would wager he doesn't have a plan to replace those programs as that responsibility would be put on the states and local level to take care of.

This man creates a false premise, that we went into Iraq to fight terrorism. The elite decided to have regime change in Iraq in 1998 (Ron Paul stood against this action in Congress btw). The plan was in place long before 9/11. WMD's and terrorism was used as an EXCUSE, but the true reasons were quite different. Saddam was keeping Iraq under control (don't mistake this as me supporting his dictatorship) there was no Al Queda there UNTIL WE STEPPED IN, now it's a terrorist Mecca! His question was just a bunch of crap IMO

LibertyEagle

I see your point, but Dr. Paul can use it as a launching point to talk about how he would deal with terrorism. He hasn't made that clear to the general public yet. My point is that there are a lot of Republicans that don't think he has any plans that would end up providing for our national security. They're wrong of course, but Dr. Paul needs to give more insight into his plans.

This debate is the most important leading up to Iowa. I am surprised at the early Sunday morning time slot. Are they going after the senior citizen demographic or what?

Original_Intent

They are going after the "very few people will watch it" demographic until after they can justify getting rid of our man. They know if people hear him they are gonna convert in large numbers. Better to have a few debates in stupid time slots and then say "We gave you your chance for exposure, but you are still polling under 5%, so we are cutting you from debates."

Or maybe I am just a tad too conspiracy-minded.

Well, he still needs to rebuttal the notion that we will have no money to go to school in a packageable plain way. He should present charitable organizations that do what DOE does, assuming those exist. He should say something other then oh let the states worry about that. If he wins the primaries (cart before the horse, yes), Hillary or whoever will tear him apart on that and he needs to know what to do right away.

They're going after "I'm at church and not even thinking of watching TV at this hour on Sunday" demographic. It's not a paranoia, when they're really out to get you.

I believe that is exactly what will happen. We all need to watch out for the Florida debate just before the January 29th primary. They have already said if you do not poll 10% in the Mason Dixon Poll you will not be able to participate. The catch is they are going to use poll results during the first of January before the Iowa Caucuses and New Hampshire Primary.

Akus, the point is the state and local government will decide whether those programs are important or not. As for the money, he is proposing to cut spending on the federal level. The state and local governments will be free to raise more funds for schools. I myself work for a school district and don't see anything valuable that comes from the federal government. In fact I would say that most of the problems in public schools are caused by federal mandates that are inflexible. Cutting out the federal government would give public schools a better chance to fix those problems as the decision makers at the federal level are clueless.

Thank you for clarifying that.
From now on, if I am asked this, I will state exactly that. The states will pick up where the Washington has left off and we will all be alright.
