This documentary examines Giuliani’s rise to power, his policies and his so-called turnaround of New York City. Interviewing journalists, activists, legal experts, and many of the city’s poor, “Giuliani Time” reveals that while the Mayor touted his Broken Windows, Quality of Life and Zero Tolerance policies, the reality on the streets was police brutality, violations of the First Amendment and racist actions.

Then 9/11 happened and Giuliani’s actions endeared him forever to Americans. Should we allow that to overshadow the darker moments of his administration?

To the rest of the forum - If you know someone that even speaks nice about Giuliani, you need to get them to watch this film! It is a huge wakeup call on how extreme he is. I highly recommend you taking the time to see!

If I recall correctly, this video doesn't even cover his "freedom is authority" slip up, his connections with the Saudi Royal Family and Fox News or his tendency to restrict citizens gun rights. Even without those it makes a very good case against him. There is so much that could be used against Giuliani the GOP would have to be completely insane to nominate him.

This movie largely shows how Rudy and his policies have hurt the city. Unfortunatly, the film maker took the side of liberal socialism and begged the argument that Rudy stopped caring for the needy.

It is my opinion, and I assume Ron Paul's, that no governement is responsible for taking care of anyone without a job. NO ONE.

You can give me all the sob stories in the world, but it won't change my mind. When I was a kid, my dad worked two jobs, so did my mom. We used an out-house for a bathroom, and when I was 12 our house burned to the ground WITHOUT insurance. Guess what? We never took money from the government. In fact, my parents never paid income taxes because they knew the income tax as we know it is illegal. It was probably that fact alone that saved us. You see, when the government stays out of our lives COMPLETELY, we have more freedom and more ability to care for ourselves. Those poor people in that clip are the result of the "inflation tax" as Ron likes to call it, and so many other taxes. Anyone can sweep, but those people could get jobs sweeping the sidewalks for the small business owners if they had more money to pay them.

This film simply wants you to believe that we owe the poor our money. While I am a firm believer in helping the needy, I choose to do it on my own, ie Church, Non-profits, etc. I sponsor kids in Africa.

Sorry if I sound like I am venting...I am just discouraged because I want to see Ron get elected I want it through sound reasoning and for the purpose of establishing proper policy in our government
