Ron Paul Not Crazy When Talking About Economics

Consistency in American politics is not always synonymous with success, and as the 2008 Presidential Election draws near, the candidates who are jockeying for the nomination from their parties are giving a new meaning to the term cut-throat opportunism. Thus terms like “traitor” and “crazy” are freely meted out when one hopeful would-be nominee is referring to another of the same party and by and large those in the know have accepted this kindergarten behavior as part and parcel of American politics.
There are those, however, who will permit a lot of insults to be heaped on the shoulders of their champions but when a certain term is used, they see red – or blue as the case may be. Ron Paul is the kind of candidate that elicits this response. Constituents and supporters are decidedly unanimous when alerting others to the fact that Ron Paul is not crazy when talking about economics.
USA Election Polls is showing that his numbers, though steadily in the single digits, are gradually increasing, and even the CNN had to admit that from the 1% he originally commandeered in January, he has climbed to 2% by June. While this may not look like much, it is important to realize that many front runners have reported losses in public opinion that may also only involve a percentage point, but yet these figures are seen as warnings!
Supporters of Ron Paul are encouraged to see that the man who would abolish the Federal Reserve, do away with the income tax, and stop the abuse of eminent domain legislation is gaining in popularity. Having made his mark on American politics by the consistency with which he lives his personal life, allies of the Texan member of the House of Representatives assure all that Ron Paul is decidedly not crazy.
