If you watch McCain his left eye starts wandering. Ron Paul's question really caught him off guard. hahaha

Is it surprising that she is representing South Carolina, the lowest educated state in the Union.. And a state that voted for McCain.

McCain: Well I don't know anything about that, but here is a list of my friends...

while this does show that McCain has a below average knowledge of the economy, neither does the voter base which would also be unsure of what the question is about.

i dont think anybody understood the question, and they probably thought mccain naming off his retarded friends is a sign of competence. America is sad, hopefully some people are smart enough to pick up onthis.

Agreed, Americans are what got us in this mess. Americans as with most humans are stupid and have no mind.

Yep, sunshine is good. We all like sunshine, and we hope that McCain's friends are competent enough to handle the problem McCain doesn't know how to fix.

I think that even if you didn't understand the question, it was still obvious that McCain had no clue what he was talking about.

That is exactly what Ron Paul's strategy was - to show how ignorant McCain is on economics. Sadly it probably went over a lot of people's heads.

As I was watching the debate, I thought it was a terrible question and I thought that Ron wasted a good opportunity. However, after further review, I think it was great! McCain clearly had no idea what he was talking about and he looked like fool trying to bumble his way through the answer.

There is a chance, albeit a small one, that the media will pick up on this since they were hitting him last night regarding his denial of the "I'm not good with economics" quote. I think that's what Ron was looking for. He wasn't trying to look great with the question, but rather, was trying to put a question out there that would make McCain look foolish and let the media talk about it for a few days.

After all, I think McCain had boned up on who's in charge of Germany by then. So much for his foreign policy experience.

What does he understand--besides which arms merchants give the best kickbacks?

Here's an interesting article from today's New York Post on The President's Working Group On Financial Markets, aka PWG, aka Plunge Protection Team.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/08162007/business/plunge_protectors_are_all_over_market_meltdown_bus iness_john_crudele.htm

After reading the article It's easy to understand why Ron Paul believes we need a lot more "sunshine" coming in on this commitee.
