I'm asking because I'm looking for new and creative ways to spread the word. There are rules governing what a person may do and say about elections while in uniform, so its hard sometimes to speak my mind when at work.

What have you done to spread Ron Paul's message being a fellow person in uniform? What if any problems have you encountered?

i cant say if they got in trouble they hid when the cameras came out.

Good luck to you! Advise? Hmmm....in boot camp, remember, it's 90% mind game. Just keep your head down, do what you're told, and do the best you can - oh, and if you don't remember anything else: PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!

What rate are you going in as?

I've done lit drops, and I voluneered at the Campaign HQ up in Arlington. All in civies, and not as a rep for the military.

I just wish I could try to sell RP to my coworkers here, but alas...

I leave slimjims and flyers in the restroom stalls...lol. Thats a good place to leave stuff like that...people think when they're on the shitter.....lol

I've overheard political discussion while at work (Fort Sam Houston) of several military folks talking about who they were going to vote for.

I'd say casual conversation is fine as long as you're not bringing it up all the time.

Did RP come up at Ft. SH?

He came to San Antonio...not Ft. Sam

Hillary and McCain came here one day...seeming like the best of friends (and why wouldn't they be, they agree on just about everything)

Just remind them of how many military contributions he gets. You can always bring that up in casual conversation. I don't think there is any regulation that says you can't promote a candidate off duty. Put a big Bumper sticker on your car...I think that's OK. It's a been a long time since Active Duty.

Oh, yeah. I promote the hell out RP off duty. I've got a huge sticker on the back window of my truck, and I carry literature everywhere, just in case.

Since I'm a Vet, whenever I go to the VA for my treatments etc... I always go there with a stack of Ron Paul slim jims.

The number one response I get when I hand one out:

Save it sonny, I'm already voting for him.

I then thank my fellow patriot and move on with a smile on my face.

The second most common response is "Huh?" (Old vets seem to be nearly def)

The third is "Does he want to get us out of this stupid war?" and then of course thats almost like taking candy from a baby...
