He's the kinda weird guy asking the bumbling questions and before you know it you have your ass handed to you and you are left shaking your head going, "What the hell just happened?".

Big Columbo fan here, by the way. :)

I bet Ron is inside McCain's head now. McCain is on his way to his hotel being briefed on how great the PPT is and how he will not be getting rid of it.

Well okay, I'll be renting some Columbo DVD's to try to figure out what you guys are talking about ;)

He's going to show up to Ron's house uninvited to proclaim that he still knows a lot about economics and in the process will prove even more clearly that he doesn't. Ron will just nod his said and say "of course, of course." By the end of the campaign McCain will be having a nervous breakdown.

Here is the short story. Columbo is a genius detective. But he dresses a little shabby and acts a little goofy. So the criminals he is investigating get cocky because they think he is stupid. Eventually Columbo figures it all out. His "catch phrase" is when he is asking them questions he gets up to leave and then stops and says just one more question. That is when the criminal knows he has been caught. And they are left there wondering how this guy they thought was an idiot bested them.

Thank you. It sounds like something worth watching when I need some TV time.

Take your pick...but McCain would be a good foil for tonight: "Pardon me, sir, but I'm a little stumped on an economic question; maybe you could help me out?" McBraindead never saw it coming.

I don't think taking pleasure in others misery is a nice thing to do. The corrupt politicians are very weak and slaves to their desires and need somebody to rescue them from themselves. It is better if we see someone that has followed the wrong track to help him find the strength and courage to get back to the right path.

"Uh Senator McCain, you keep on saying that you are a fiscal conservative for smaller government, but you haven't explained how you plan on paying for your war yet?"

"You see Senator, I think you are the one who is killing the budget and injuring the citizens with debt."

"I just want to tie up one loose end. You really have no idea what the PPT is, do you?"

"Take him away."
