Actually, there is some dispute regarding whether Iraq used chemical weapons on the kurds. There is evidence that points to Iran being the source of that attack.

But of course it's all stupid. Our government could not have cared less when Saddam was gassing other ragheads during the Iran-Iraq war. Now it's supposed to be justification for this ridiculous occupation and takeover. The whole thing is a demented farce.
