qestion, do you think we could find a way to contact ex president Jimmy Carter and see if he'd be willing to hear Ron Paul's positions and possibly endorse him? Jimmy Carter may not have been the most popular democrat president... but I think he still has some positive influence...

I recently found this suggestion on stolenelection2004.com. I had been thinking about this for several weeks, and it inspired me to make my first contact. I've contacted Jimmy Carter and asked him to enter the fray over the election crisis here in the good ol' UF of A. He certainly has the influence, the experience, and the nobility of character. Tomorrow, I'll also place a phone call. I'm forwarding this reque4st to my address book. If you agree that this is a good idea, you can contact him at the following: carterweb@emory.edu

i realize that Carter was a democrat... however I recall Carter was very supportive of civil rights... with all the BS racist propoganda against Ron Paul, perhaps someone like Carter could help fix that negative image people have of Ron Paul

I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything....but....we are trying to get the Republican nomination. Carter is a liberal and hated by the majority of Republicans. The GOP already thinks Paul is a liberal because of his Iraq stance, we don't need to add fuel to the fire.

Plenty of time for gentlemen like Jimmy Carter to endorse us once we start running against the democrats ;)

yuck, jimmy carter was probably the most hated president. We don't need that kind of endorsement.

i think you guys are right... but how did mccain do well with lieberman's endorsement?
i really think it's bs how in New Hampshire they put out the stupid story the same day of the caucus... Ron Paul's image has improved but i was thinking if more people who were very strong in the Civil Rights movement support Ron Paul, it'll help change attitudes

Jimmy Carter is a great human being, but he was a horrible president. He would be a great endorsement during the general election, but a joke in the republican primary.

jimmy carter was a democrat.

So is lieberman, but his endorsement really helped McCain.

Carter is CFR a serves no purpose for us. Many of the people Carter appointed
are the very ELITES pulling strings in the background today.
