Mike Huckabee's campaign is trying to raise 80 million dollars this weekend. They are asking 8 million Christians to donate $10 each. Please let's try to raise even more money for Dr. Paul.

If they break $800,000 I will be amazed.

Huckabee's supporters have less faith than Paul's supporters (ironic, isn't it?), but at least they're giving it the old college try. I don't suspect they'll raise much more than a mil...

anyway, for anyone who doesn't know, you can monitor it here: http://ronpaulgraphs.com/rp_vs_huck_today.html

80 million! Wow, why not ask for 80 billion, or 80 trillion... I think this may be a sign that Mike has lost it.

Has he ever raised more than $100K in a day?

Has he ever raised more than $100K in a day?

i'm pretty sure he has, at least a couple times after winning the Iowa caucus, and giving major speeches...

Has he ever raised more than $100K in a day?

Actually he has averaged about $100K per day this quarter, believe it or not.

cool.. good incentive for Paul supporters to raise some more for him while there's still time to do something with it before Feb 5. Huck is trailing RP by around $500,000 this month (http://ronpaulgraphs.com/rp_vs_huck_this_month.html).. but if enough preachers tell their congregations to donate (and they will somehow legally..) then they could close that gap.

I just had a horible thought! What if Huckabee's superbowl ad is him asking 8 million christians to donate $10 to him, so he can align the constitution with the word of the lord!?

Huck hasn't got a chance. He's just angling for a position in a McCain administration.
He only exists to take votes from Paul, the only other candidate evangelicals could possibly support.

Huck is more of a fringe candidate than Julie. I predict more Florida votes for Paul than HUck. He is sinking like a stone.

As soon as word gets out that Paul beat McCain AGAIN in LA, we'll get a nice bump.

Yes, I can just imagine it:

"Brothers and sisters. As you will know from my record as governor, I like to spend money. Other people's money. And I like to spend it BIG. So, . . . ." :D

LOL!

"I want every Christian to give me $10 dollars on (insert date here), and I will NOT accept money from Mormons, atheists, Muslims, Jews, or any other faith. And remember, if a Christian donates money to any candidate other than me, they're not really a Christian. I am God's chosen one, and no other candidate can compete with me!"

I think Huckabee is getting more and more exposed by the day. He certainly doesn't practice Jesus' teachings very well, does he?

Why 8 million Christians? According to the Law of Loaves and Fishes 8,000 should do it.

Why would any Christian give him money? He's the most anti-christ candidate there is.

He would do more to harm the cause of Christ then any other candidate. As a Christian, I know that the more tax-and-spend our government conists of, the less money Christians have to give to missionaries and gospel related activities.

I personally feel that a missionary sent to the Middle East(or any other place in the world for that matter) will have a much better chance at declining the levels of violent activities then a soldier with a gun.

That's what we ought to ask every other Christian: Which do you think will do the rest of the world better? A missionary with a Bible or a soldier with a gun? It will at least get them thinking outside of Fox News and inside their Bible. Of course you need to explain(since the nanny state mentality is so prevalent) that they could keep their money and give it to their church to send a lot more missionaries if the U.S. wasn't taking their money to police the world.

Has he ever raised more than $100K in a day?

The mathematical formula of the Hucksters Fundraising is

0 > X < 300k

He raised the most money for his campaign 300,000 after his Iowa Caucus win. Then the only money he raised through independent grassroots fundraising was from the Hucksarmy moneybomb which accounted for 90,000. Then you had the Childrens Day Moneybomb which was only 220,000 dollars. Which we had a impromptu counter-moneybomb which we made 250,000.. most of it after 2pm.

Hello, this Mike Huckabee, I'm in the middle of a presidential campaign.
It's God!
How did you get my number?
God has everyone's number?
You need me to deliver a message to the GOP?
Support the "one whose name they can't mention"?
Yes Lord, stop the war in Iraq and protect the U.S. Constitution?
Yes, sir!
Bless you too, sir!

I have talked to many Huckabee supporters. I tell them he was indicted 14 times in AR for misappropriation of money,,they seem to excuse that. I do not understand why. I know so much about this guy lying and stealing...does the MSM report it? No. It is more than public record. but no one cares. Romney does not even qualify to be a President as he is a KNGHT of the British Empire! (note how small that empire is, today, due to many things our constitution was formed to prevent). Something needs to be done!!!! Is MSM the ONLY way to get word out about these totally unqualified candidates??????????????

Well, I'm sure many of them are still excusing Bush's antics and still think he's a born again Christian too. So it wouldn't surprise me that they'd turn a blind eye to Huckabee's wrongdoings.

Let's ask 80 million Christians to give 50 dollars to Ron Paul, the man who actually knows that Jesus is the prince of Peace.

Huckabee knows as much about Jesus as Mccain knows about the economy.

Is that $10 current value that he wants, or the value of $10 after he takes office?

believe with all your heart and it will happen. For if God desires it, it will happen. You do not realize the tremendous power you have through your faith, power more than the angels. If you believe with all your heart and trust God in what you are praying for, it will happen; but you must believe, you must trust, and you must have unconditional faith.

something to be observed

http://smithbrad.nventure.com/sunworship.htm

people often make the mistake of personifying god saying: "HE, does this.." and "HIS word" as if god were human; god knows all through language of geometry no matter what scale.

...the path to god does not lie in religion; it is a self journey and should be void of social order or preferences derived from governmental manipulations of text.

of course this is my viewpoint.
